i've been reading The Game: Penetrating The Secret Society of Pickup Artists. i first came across this whole pickup artist thing in san francisco when i watched a couple of episodes of the reality tv show and thought it was complete bull. by the time i left san francisco, i had forgotten about the entire thing. until i spotted the book on Friend's shelf (i don't know why he has the book haha, he feigns innocence when i ask if he wants to learn how to pick up girls like paris hilton). so it's been my bedtime book and i've got to say it's really unbelievable that such a community actually exists in our world. they apparently put group theory, stuff about hypnosis and toy with girls' minds to seduce them. any guy who has a lifelong dream to be able to seduce girls any time any place should read this. and i just thought to myself: maybe i can "pickup" guys using these techniques mentioned in the book! hahaha.
